Wayfinding
Physical & Digital Navigation | 2026
At Sheridan College, I am leading the development of a campus-wide wayfinding approach across three campuses, bridging both physical navigation and digital indoor mapping. This work involved auditing existing signage and spatial cues, identifying usability gaps, and establishing clearer standards for how people move through complex institutional environments.
Alongside the physical wayfinding system, I partnered directly with Mapsted’s product team to create a digital mapping experience. We have been collaborating to refine the POI structure, routing clarity, accessibility considerations, and the backend workflows needed to maintain the map over time. The result is an evolving navigation ecosystem designed to help students, staff, and visitors feel more oriented and supported in space.
